The Interactive Intelligence PureCloud platform is well-suited for multinational organizations. The company, which is being acquired by contact-center software provider Genesys, offers three PureCloud packages: PureCloud Collaborate, PureCloud Communicate and PureCloud Engage.
PureCloud Collaborate, a free service, enables unified collaboration for businesses that don't require outgoing or incoming phone calls. Supporting an unlimited number of users, this package offers 1 TB of storage, instant messaging, video conferencing with up to five participants, file sharing, content management, Active Directory synchronization and mobility services.
PureCloud's cloud-based unified communications application is the core enterprise tool that powers most of the services delivered to an organization's users. This enables users to message, view presence status, call, share their desktop and create meetings -- all from a single location. Meetings can be simple chatrooms, where people can be invited to participate. And, if required, the chat can turn into a video conference call with the click of a button.
The application's interface stays consistent among all devices, including desktop PCs, laptops, tablets and mobile devices, which should help boost worker productivity and efficiency.
Shared workspaces let users chat about a team project, upload content relevant to the project, track activity and much more.
PureCloud's advanced IP telephony features
By upgrading to Interactive Intelligence PureCloud Communicate, companies can take advantage of several sophisticated IP telephony features that will allow them to communicate worldwide.
PureCloud Communicate integrates IP PBX capabilities, enabling enterprises to make or receive calls anywhere in the world. Additional features include speech-enabled auto attendant, inbound faxing, audio conferencing, call recording, optional remote survivability services, and the ability to connect IP phones and softphones. Additional services include dial by name, call forwarding, group ring, call twinning and E911 support. The Communicate plan is $19.99 per user, per month.
Remote survivability services can be added with PureCloud Edge, which is a highly redundant telephony product based on a blade server that will ensure 100% service uptime, even if connectivity to PureCloud becomes unavailable.
Interactive Intelligence PureCloud Engage targets large organizations that require call-center capabilities. It provides comprehensive features, plus multichannel routing, speech-enabled interactive voice response, outbound campaigns, multichannel recording, quality management, detailed reporting and customer relationship management integration. PureCloud Engage offers three different plans starting at $69.99 per user, per month.
