Optivity Telephony Manager (OTM)

Optivity Telephony Manager (OTM) is an application that provides single-point analysis, configuration, and management of telephony networks using a Web browser or graphical user interface (GUI). The OTM suite, which is offered by Nortel Networks, is designed for the management of Meridian 1 and Communication Server 1000 systems.

OTM simplifies tasks such as usage monitoring and tracking, call usage reporting, workstation performance monitoring, inventory reporting, billing procedures, toll fraud detection, alarm notification and resolution, processor load monitoring, fault detection and monitoring, and changes in network configuration such as workstation relocation, addition, or deletion. Using OTM, network managers can access private branch exchanges (PBXs) remotely from any workstation equipped with a Windows-based Web browser. In addition, OTM employs user authorization for security, and offers online help to assist with the resolution of technical problems.
