Cisco IP phones 2009
Cisco IP phones scored highest in the voice quality category, with 79% of respondents giving them four or five stars on our five-star scale. Respondents offered positive feedback on the voice quality and end-user ease of use, with one reader even calling the phones "amazing IP sets." Several users criticized the high prices, however.
The IP phones from Cisco also garnered solid ratings for features and services, with 70% of respondents scoring them four stars or higher. The phones faltered, though, in their ability to run native and third-party applications. In this criterion, the majority of readers (53%) rated the Cisco phones at three stars or lower. One respondent commented, "[The] applications [are] limited to proprietary XML scheme, and soft keys do not keep up with user or call status."
