Enterprise-grade mobile E911 solution released
At TMC's IT Expo & Conference this week, 911 Enable, a division of ConneXon Telecom Inc., announced the release of its E911 VoIP Location Management System.
The product 911 Enable is a VoIP E911 provider that gives residential and enterprise users an E911 solution. The Location Management System gives nomadic, or mobile, employees the ability to register multiple locations into 911 Enable's database in order to access critical 911 services regardless of where the call comes from. The 911 calls will be automatically directed to the right public safety answering point. The Location Management System is compatible with devices like IP phones and laptops.
Codima announces Windows 2003 support
Codima Technologies Ltd., maker of VoIP network and infrastructure management tools recently announced that all tools in the Codima Toolbox now support Windows Server 2003, allowing Codima's VoIP network management tools to integrate directly with Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) servers running Windows 2003.
As SIP evolves as a standard protocol for VoIP networks, Codima has integrated SIP technology for its VoIP management tools and offers simulating, monitoring, troubleshooting and mapping with add-on modules for flow analyzer, RTP analyzer, path analyzer, remote management, asset management and mapping.
