What are all of the components needed to configure the use of VoIP? Specifically, if one has IP telephony, is there anything else needed?
For enterprise VoIP, the number of components depends on the supplier. Some suppliers, such as Zultys, provide all that you need for voice, video, fax and data communications in a single box, while other solutions may require multiple servers, external gateways and other components. In addition to the IP communications system, IP phones are needed. These come in the form of desktop sets or softphones which can run on your PC.
