I want to know whether cRTP is supported on ethernet/frame relay/ATM and WAN for VoIP? Could you explain the difference between Ethernet and WAN?

cRTP is a compression method within the TCP header. That said, how you transmit the packet depends on the network, but yes it is supported in all of the above. WAN would be a T-1 or ATM type link and is generally provided by a service provider.

Ethernet is usually a local area networking mechanism for moving the TCP packets around the network. In some areas, service providers are now providing Ethernet links for wide area communications.
